I'm hoping its in the switchback assault too.
My guess is it will be. Guess we will know more Jan 30.
With any luck at all I'll be able to get one.
I hope that the rear suspension stays open the way it is now. Don't like the new rear suspension on the Rush and Pro S sleds. Seems to me they would load up with snow. The kids I ride with do some off trail but I think it would load up in real powder.

someone on snowest said the following

408 #'s
no more bonded arms (cast alum uppers will be used)
3" narrower body work for less panneling out
2.7 track
160 hp motor (800ho/Axys)
lower geared quick drive

137? 146? Great Switchback length 144"

Yes I'm saying it would be nice for a short version of the RMK a sleds like skidoo does with the short freeride..the switchback and assaults are trail sleds. A 146 with good shocks and belt drive and RMK chassis not switchback chassis like current assault would be a sweet UP sled

Kinda like a YHK (yooper hill king). I'm thinking the back half of a 05 switchback edge with the Rmk Pro front end with assault shock setup. 144x2x15 challenger track.

I hope the new pro comes in 36" front end, HO motor, current skid and tunnel (no funky rush look)

Me and a bud were commenting the other day about how we used to say a 144 is the perfect UP sled. It may be true for the guys who don't care to climb but for me after riding steep and deep UP for the last few years my mind has changed. I would have no issues at all owning a 163 track with 3". In fact,, if I do get a new sled next year which I doubt, it will be the 163.

For me 144 seems just right, enough on trail to haul around a longer track is too much effort, then again I'm a smaller guy too. I like the idea of 36 front for tree banging.

nothing wrong with sticking to what fits your needs. I'll compromise trail comfort for a hill climbing monster. You wouldn't even know the difference with a 163 compared to a 153 except you'd climb better, through the trees no problem. I ride as little trail as possible. In fact, last year we would trailer 15 miles just so we didn't have to ride the extra miles.

Bottom line, ride what you like and 163 will be my next sled

Planned on selling the wife's 13 Pro 800 155 in 2 weeks. But may have to sell my 14 too and snow check for both of us.
