The Snowies trip in January

It was a great time and I'm glad I got to ride with some of you. Sorry we didn't make it down to Centennial or to other cabins but the sled and truck issues along with some drama really changed everything.
Great time riding with my group and Pat's.... definitely have to do this again sometime - in the Snowies, Tog, Cooke or anywhere really. Sorry I missed Skylar's group, Darrel's, The Ricks, and Snolver's.

sorry we missed you too..sounds like you had your hands full ,we did try to stop at the cabins a couple of times when we were heading back to the truck but,we missed you every time.. there's always the UP (45 new inches of snow)
I also tried to stop by the cabins but missed you guys. I'll get my pics up tonight. Other than the whole visibility thing, we had a great ride. The only issues we had were with trailer tires on the way back, but that was easy enough to deal with. I don't even think anybody bent anything this trip!! Can't say that very often-lol.
I am sorry we missed most everyone also. I was up at 4 am Tuesday to go to work, then we headed out around 5:30 pm Tuesday night, drove straight through, I got about 3 hours sleep total, then we arrived around 11 am, rode hard for about 3-4 hours, got a hold of Chris to get down to the truck and load up our stuff, dragged it up to the cabin, unloaded, than ran back down to Laramie to pick up a different set of weights for the 02 700 RMK, then back to Mountain Meadow Cabins. We thought about stopping in Centennial to meet and greet, but we were way to fricken tired. I figured I was up for roughly 41 hours with 3 hours of sleep. LOL. I WAS BEAT! Plus, the cabins up there are not really set up to go a visiting very easily. Next time, we need to find a place that has enough room for everyone to hang out and bs after the riding is done. Togwotee anyone? LOL.

10 mile next year!!!!!we ate lunch over there!!!great bar across street and nice looking cabins...
Ten Mile Inn is a awesome place, the owners Ken and Kimberly are the best, Our base camp when were in the Snowys.

Shhhhhh!!!!!! Don't. Give up the place to be. That is were Moms always goes! Had a ball. Sucks I am working 4 days before Cooke Trip.
Awww, we all feel sorry for you that you have to work 4 days before heading west AGAIN! LOL.

Well gang, the Snowies trip is officially over - Everything is washed and clean
Now the prep work to turn everything around for the next Yoop trip begins
Put away for the night under a nice green glow to keep the Poo, Doo and Yamahaha monsters away
As typically happens, the trip was an adventure for many of us and hope everyone had a good a time as my dad and I meeting everyone, eating meals together, hanging out in the evenings, riding with old and new friends and working to figure out how to get a trailer the last mile up the mountain when it is attached, on grade, to a dead pickup!
Tog is calling...Why can't it be three hours away?

Yeah, I had no idea who was who either. I figured I would try and catch people at the cabins, but missed most everybody. I talked with "special Ed" for a brief moment but never ran into anyone else. Now that I see all the pics I know I ran past some of you, but hind sight is always 20/20. Oh-well, anybody ready to go back?? We could try it again.
