The Wicked Snow Witch is Dead

Hip Hip Hooray!

My condolences to all you snowmobilers who love to come to the U.P. and play in the snow. On the other hand, when you have lived in the U.P. all your life it is refreshing to see an early spring.

The temperature as I type this is 52 outside with low temperatures not expected to drop below freezing for the next several days.

Anybody as happy as I am. Remember no swearing allowed on this site.

I should of known better. F#@king blizzard on Sat. Roads were pretty much bare, but went through many nasty snow bands. I saw quite a few snowmobiles parked outside the mosquito as I rode bye so there are a few die hards still out there. Marquette weather station saw a record snowfall for the date of almost 8 inches. More snow today. Damn, where is spring.

Our ice went out on March 21st! Very early this year. It's usually within a day or two of April 15th historically.
