Theft of Snowmobile Accessories in UP - Beware

Those skidoo Link bags can and will fall off if you don't check them. My buddies came off on a straight away last weekend on a cold night. I was following and saw it tumbling down the trail. The bottom plastic bracket broke. Good news is you can buy new brackets instead of whole new bag.

Note: I'm not implying this is what happened here.

...anything less would assume that a fellow Doo owner would be the scoundrel....who else would have such a use for it?....us poogoons need to see a bungy cord to understand the value of it.

My bag fell off last week suffered severe trail rash and exhaust burned a hole in the other side. I didn't lose anything but the bag was dead. I bought a new bag at Pat's and secured straps with deadmen so can't slip out anymore. Only way to remove the bag without tools is by cutting off but thieves prolly would not have a problem doing that. Only vlaue is my spare BRP snokle, tow rope and shovel but who knows what is valuble to morons to steal?

It is a shame that people cannot respect other peoples property. I for one have never experienced theft in the UP, but then again maybe I am lucky. I would like to wish it fell off, but after reading it was 2 sleds I know that is damn near impossible.

Yeah somebody stole the gas cap off my new PRO X 800 demo too. Shoved a rag in it and left it empty on gas. Guess at least they put a rag in it anyway. It's just one of those years:(
