It isn't bad enough that it is the first day of spring -sledding over- now we are even more hosed than we thought? The events in Japan are terrible. There is nothing good about the loss of life. However there might be something good that comes out of it. Before the earthquake Japan was the #3 economy behind China and the US. They had been purchasing US debt in large quantities. That is out the window now. Instead they will be pulling money home to rebuild. China is becoming more and more reluctant to take on more US debt. What this will do is move up the day of reckoning for the US govt to get its house in order. And yes it will be very painful. It has already gone on much too long and is incredibly bloated and complicated and corrupted. The sooner it is addressed the less painful it will be. We just need somebody to step up and deal with it - it isn't going away.

well on the up side last week was the last week I worked for taxes now I get to work for all my other bills the rest of the yr

God bless yaa ,but the ahole in DC thinks we should work for him until Thanksgiving yaa know.Remember the comments he made to Joe in Ohio (spread the wealth around) fing marxist.Only upside with this depression is that 4 the 1st time in about 20 yrs I won't be writing a check and having this ahole cashing it.God bless America and have a nice day

That somebody could be you! or is the plan to live by the boarder and slip over quitely one night when all heck breaks loose? OH! CANADA!!

I would run but if you think they found dirt on Palin I think they would have decades of skeletons coming out of the closet on me.heck just the 40 or so Grateful dead shows and the dysfunctional behavior that goes along with those events automaticly takes me out of the race

I'm very depressed now! I read that report all the way through and never realized till now how bad a shape this country is in. To count to trillion one second at a time, would take 32000 years. Thats a huge number, now multiple it by 120. Were screwed!!!!!! The good thing, the UP is getting snow this week!:)
