As long as we're comparing War Stories. Mine was in Boulder Junction a few years ago. Riding in a group, through town, above the speed limit, I was last in line when his lights came on. I stopped and the rest of the group kept going. I think the last part was what got him stirred up. But once I killed the engine and took my helmet off his mood seemed to improve. Gave me a warning to share with the group, who were waiting at the edge of town (like a bunch of chickens) to see how much my fine was.
I find that a lot of "yes sirs & no sirs" can go a long way in avoiding fines and worse when encountering law enforcement. It hasn't failed me yet.
