Here's a few of my random thoughts on Favre and the Packers.
There's no doubt that Brett deserves to be in HOF. It'll be interesting to see who he chooses to introduce him when the time comes.
You have to believe that the stars lined up perfect when Wolf, Holmgren, and Favre came together. But despite what a lot of people believe, it wasn't just about Favre, there were a lot of good players on those teams. Brett certainly did his share of putting Green Bay back on the top of the NFL and it possibly wouldn't have happened without him.
Brett's relationship with Rodgers was disfunctional, at best. Rodgers has always taken the High Road and so the current comments from Aaron don't come as a surprise. The ball is in Favre's court if he chooses. We all know that he wants, and deserves to have his name and number on Lambeau next to Reggie, it's just a matter of time. Green Bay is ready to put this to rest, now it's up to Favre. I guess the way that I look at it is, it'll happen when it happens.
....and I'd love to be a fly on the wall the next time Ted Thompson and Brett Favre are in the same room together. Can you say "Awkward"...
