Togwotee Area Between Christmas and New Years

We have reservations for tog area between Christmas and New Years ...Is the snow this time of year ok normally or should a person wait til later in Jan ?????

based on the cam today not much snow at all...Im not sure if there going to get that storm that is spose to hit tonight and tomorrow.

never done tog new yrs but have done CO rabbit ears new yrs a few times all good but last yr

I have a couple of friends on here that'll chime in soon. Lookn4snow, He goes out there every year during that time. Carter will keep you up to date as well.

I have ridden at Togwotee 5 times before Christmas. Always had plenty of snow in fact usually too much snow as in bottomless powder. You should be fine. It can pile up in a hurry out there.

Hey Bent, we will be there again this Christmas. I have had some of the best powder riding over Christmas. It'll snow, it always does. There are lots of people, but the area is big so it has never been a problem. We never got a chance to meet on the Mississippi boating this year, but maybe at Tog over the Holidays!

Yeah that would be awesome to meet out there ...I am pretty sure we are staying at Lava Mountain this time ...Where will you be staying?

We are staying at the lodge at Togwotee. Just got the new sled and am getting it ready to roll. Let's stay in touch and talk as it gets closer.
