My bucket list trip to Togwotee with my son is only a few weeks away. We are skiing after sledding at Tog and we are trying to limit the amount of gear we need to take. Our package at Tog includes gear and I was wondering if any one knows how the helmets they have are? Are they open with goggles? We have full face helmets and I am not sure how they will work in the mountains. We ride In Michigan and mostly trails. Really looking forward to giving the mountains a try.

Togs sled gear other than the helmets looks pretty decent
Unless they recently upgraded from the 1970's style helmet with the bubble style shield. I would call Tog. Direct and ask for the sled shack. They will answer for you. You should put this question under Carters corner in the western section.

Those suck. First time out there in 06 for me. Had leather bibs and a doo modular helmet. Learned fast. Lol. Been there nine times since. Fly helmets with Scott amber lenses will cover the most bases for you and not break the bank.Still rockin the bubble as of last feb 13

next time look into crooked creek guest ranch and or line shack both in dubois wy / much better rates i think / and trails are great /i have ben going to that area for 30 yrs money well spent nb

To far from the good stuff unless your there to trail ride. Been to lava mtn. a couple times. If your spending the bucks to "off trail" I like the Togwotee package.next time look into crooked creek guest ranch and or line shack both in dubois wy / much better rates i think / and trails are great /i have ben going to that area for 30 yrs money well spent nb

Line shack is closed, now it's the owner own personal play house resort.
Sucks because now there is only CC up there.
There is good off trail ridding up by CC just not the steep and technical stuff you find around tog.
You want an open faced helmet with goggles, you can't get enough air in a mod helmet.
