Looks like 2 to 4 inches for most of the northwoods, except 5 to 8 inches west and north of minocqua... (lac du flambeau, Mercer, and northern price county.)...anything over 3 inches will make the trails very nice from tomahawk and north...we have a good base, and with the cold weather expected following this system...we could have the best riding of the season so far by the weekend..so keep your fingers crossed, and hope this system hits...i will post updates tomorrow with pics (hopefully).

Not sure on rain totals...it wasn't as much as expected...we had a good base, and did have some freezing rain last night....its still lightly snowing...but not really accumulating...supposed to intensify by noon...i guess we will see...but if the tomahawk area gets 3 plus...i think the trails will be good to go

YOU ALL NEED TO RELAX! Ive been watching LandoLakes cam on the NCN, morning everything brown especially the trail, people have been on the trails all day and its not completely white and its suppose to pick up in snow fall from now till 9pm. most of the snow will be from here on out. Maybe not so much to the south but check out the radar, johns forecast seems to be pretty dead on, suppect 6 inches in phelps/lando when all done. And im typing this in my shop in chicago, so just going off what i see on the web.

I've got 3 in lac du flambeau (My mother's house) and still snowing hard, a little over two in Tomahawk (Just checked with my wife)...still lightly snowing there as well. Roads start getting slick north of merrill...hwy 8 is terrible...so be careful if you are trailering up
