Trails through out the area are in fair to good condition with a few rough spots and areas....the main railroad grade is actually pretty good...a little thin in spots...but we do have a nice ice base out there right now...a few of the wet spots south of town have frozen up nicely....the swamps just north of Irma are rough in spots..and we are a bit thin on snow in spots....HOWEVER...there is good news in the forecast!!!...Local Weather guy just put us in the 5-8 inch category for tonight, into Tuesday!! (Tomahawk and to the north 3-6)...and we did receive just over an inch Sunday night into Monday morning...if we get this expect snow tonight into tomorrow..trails could be very nice by mid week...and if we give the clubs some time to do a little grooming/panning with the fresh snow (with the ice base we have)...we could have the best conditions we have seen in a very long time up here....keep your fingers crossed...we need this snow....I will update snow totals tomorrow.
