In a word....LOUSY!!...I leave for 3 days come home to horrid, ungroomed trails...and remember the mud hole in the swamp just north of the hog house that I told u guys about..
Well...there's now a ski-doo buried in the middle of it...I am going to recommend nobody ride corridor 17, until we get a ton more snow or the club can get a temporary bridge put in place..it's just plain nasty back there

I don't know what's going on...if a groomer is broke down or what...but from harrison to Lake alice..to the south side of Tomahawk is god awful...I took a **** of a beating the last 20 miles of my 110 mile trip today (carter back to Tomahawk)...btw...the trails west of crandon, to monico, and down to pelican lake were outstanding...so I wrongly assumed that if those areas were good ...harrison would be killer (wrong)...honestly...my sled is parked ...until we get more snow and some major grooming gets done...I'm sorry...wish I had good news for you...but it's that bad out there.

NOT ALL BAD!!!! Was out grooming Northwoods Passage trails all day and I have to say they are good to very good. It snowed all day on top of the +/- 1" from last night. I hit the trail along Hwy 8 for the first time with the drag. It's flatter than it was. There might be a couple dirt spots showing but with that trail I have to use everything the drag will pull in to fill some of the holes.
I also did the 10 trail to Price county and got through the whole thing. There's a lot of snow out there.
I plan on grooming the 86 trail from Tomahawk to Spirit Falls and the 19 Corridor to Tripoli tomorrow or Wednesday.
With cold weather this week, next weekend looks to be a good one to ride... At least from what I'm seeing.

Attack man from Alice then would you suggest west as Swampy says? Is Harrison lack of snow or poor grooming? both? I would not be heading south on 17 maybe north on Bearskin/Hiawatha then branch off both east or west depending on snow? thanks for the honesty its greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what's going on with knight owls...but their trails weren't groomed at all...had to be heavy traffic over the weekend too...because we went through harrison friday around 11:30...and the trails were great....the 17 corridor hasn't been groomed all year (just tracked)..and the swamp nOrth of hog house has a huge open hole...it's nasty...as swampy said there is snow out there...and we did get some snow today....but south and east of Tomahawk are bad right now...I would head north and west...I'd like to tell u to head towards elcho and pelican lake through harrison, because those areas were awesome today...but until they groom...it's gonna be rough through the hills.....there is more snow further north too...lac du Flambeau via pier willow and west to pike lake should be decent provided it's been groomed....again 17 corridor could be good with some grooming...though I'm not sure what they will do with that huge mud hole in the swamp.
