In the middle of all this, on Monday, the MN Legislature (House of representatives) voted 74-60 to give salary increases to State Employees. 50,000 GOV'T workers to get a raise in the middle of this? From a 1.5B surplus to a 2.4B deficit (Estimated as of today) and we hand out raises to state employees?? I understand these raises were part of last years negotiations, but seriously??

MN Gov is pushing forward with the raises in July. For every STATE employee getting a raise, there are 12 Minnesotans now unemployed. Hmm.

I'm not from Minny, but that wouldn't be a bad idea for those in the low income bracket like the sanitation workers as they are REALLY on the front lines probably getting rid of covid carp.
