Is it ok to put a rancher bumper on my snow machines? Crossed paths with a lot of deer over the weekend. They didn't signal or cross by the deer crossing signs. Should I call the DNR on this?

You would think with the big money we all spend on MI trail permits that the blasted MI DNR could better direct MI deer to only cross the trail @ deer crossing signs. I mean what the heck!!!:)

They had a radio station DJ on the phone with a women who could not understand why they put the deer crossing signs across highways. She was insisting the deer would be much safer if they put the crossing signs in a less congested area such as a side street. I never laughed so hard.

That's where I got the idea from. Thought it would fit in great here. The dear signaling
was my own idea. Just think how safe the trails would be.lol

We saw a grouse in the trail with no interest in moving. Obviously didn't get the DNR memo for birds...
I loved that lady's solution of moving the deer crossing signs to where the school crossings are. She was using her noggin on that one...

This is just my opinion but if it you want to use hand signals use them. If not why would you complain on this board? Just to stir things up?

It is just common courtesy for the average (mom @ pop rider) trying to keep their group safe! I like to ride fast but do most of my riding off trail. I guess everyone has to b.... about something! Get out and ride and quit complaining!! enough said! I'm sure someone will b.... about this too!
