I think Bauers Dam has excellent food, and great location, but pricing on food is close to gouging. (close)

1) Henry's...how can you not like it or the people!
2) Bauers...good food but expensive as was mentioned.
3) Mariner...Just like being there.
4) Popes...not real fancy but I like it.

Used to really enjoy the Root Cellar but with the *** that owns it now I will never go back. We used to have TOO good of a time in there.

Not a drunk monkey at all - just know the cool spots. Most of my spots have awesome food too!

Top 3 is just too hard. Black Oak is another I could've added to my list.

Black Bear Minocqua
Burnt Bridge Conover
Log Cabin Conover

Konteka is our UP home base bar and feel so lucky it's such a great spot!!

Well, bar #1 must have great food, as this will usually be our lunch stop (Hoop-N-Holler on Lake Gogebic comes to mind). Bar #2 must have ice cold beer as this will usually be a stop on the way back to base camp (Bam Bam's in Marenisco would rank right up there). Bar #3 must have a "fun" staff as this is where we will hunker down for the rest of the evening (1 or 2 spots on the lower block of Hurley seems to fit that bill).

As long as those 3 criteria are met, they're great in my eyes:).

Happy Trails!!!!!!!!!

Does T&M have decent food? I've been to the Red Man in Land O but never T&M.

I remember there was a place in Land O for Brkfst that had smoked pork chops with eggs. I think that place is closed, now I favor Sunrise Lodge for Brkfst.

T&M on my list just because thats the "local hangout" that I like to go to and also have bowling league there too. The restaurant is open in there again and it's called Betty Boops. It's your average bar fare with homemade soups and fresh cut french fries. Directly on the trail too.

Just found the Y-Knot bar on Cty Y outside of Hazelhurst this weekend. Cheri makes homemade chicken dumpling soup every day, and has a good ham and cheese sandwich. We liked it so much we rode a big loop and ended up back here from drinks later that evening.

Also!
Club 45 outside of Conover
and another vote for Bents Camp, and Log Cabin in Conover.
