Top 3 Bars

gotta love stinkstar for turning a fun thread of people's favorite trail stops into a drinking and riding bash- and then being a DBag about a typo.

My favorite stops...
Sunrise Lodge for breakfast- hands down best spot for morning grub
Hanging out/view- Hoop & Mapleview. Could sit at Mapleview all day long and watch the sleds come in off the lake. They also have great bloody mary's- a basic, but fabulous menu (hot ham & cheese, burger, pizza, or chili) and root beer on tap.
Dinner- Pub n Prime... yum!! Or Up North Lodge in Gwinn- very good as well. And Bent's- I don't eat seafood, but always go with the group for friday fish fry. I get their homemade pizza which is good.

Other frequent stops we like to get to-
Sundown- love Bob & Barb
Black Oak Inn- we have TOO much fun there
Henry's- great food
Sayner Pub
Knockers

could go on and on..... I just love the northwoods!

catalac its like me calling you benz or bmw or something.. dont mean to kill you.. Indy I have never been to the bug bar an ted has never been to the u.p

couple other places I like to stop an eat at are waby lodge and tappers in prescile or the pea patch..

I do not go to the bars during snowmobile season.. It is not a good image for us already frowned upon snowmobilers... I greatly love the sport and if i plan to have a cold one I will do so at my house or I wil go to the tavern in clothing that does not resemble I am an avid snowmobiler and John dee follower.. You boose you lose kiddos... Honey badger dont give a **** tho he dont care... SOOO with that being said.. My top 3 bars are hard tellin not knowin.. BUT you dont have to twist my arm friends an family..

NUMBER one choice is.... (drum roll) The Hardware Store

NUMBER two choice is ( trumpet please) Club Seira

NUMBER three choice is ( golf clap) Weezels

I guess I missed the "TOP THREE BARS YOU LIKE TO DRINK FORTY BEERS AND RIDE FROM" heading. No one said you have to get sloshed to stop at a "bar". Anyway, back to the subject! I love Stinkstars top three. I can't really make a top three myself, like many others that have posted, but I do know my number one and two are the........

RED FOX SALOON @ TOG.
and
SODA BUTTE @ COOKE

Simply because if I'm there, I know I'm relaxing from an epic day of riding and more than likely looking forward to another.

Oh, and by the way, Weezels burnt down so now it looks like you may have to add the frontier to your list. (Not that I have ever been to either one of those awful god forbidden shameful outlaw biker lovin sinister places)

In no particular order:

Harry's Chocolate Shoppe in West Lafayette, IN
The bar that used to be in the basement of Stevens III in Fontana, WI (now gone)
This little beach side place in Speightstown, Barbados (forget the name)

I did not see where they had to be snowmobile or Northwoods related.

If they are snowmobile or Northwoods related, then way too many to list, but Bear Belly in Lac La Belle certainly holds a VERY special place in my heart and has great food and fun owners/employees to boot! Plus the new breadsticks they have on the menu ROCK!

Also cannot wait to get back to Ash Trail. Some great memories there too (ok honeymoon related, but still...!) :D

Thanks guys for the compliments. We aren't the Y-Knot - it used to be called that, but we are the Angler's Inn. Come on down and see what they are talking about - you won't be sorry:)
