Looking to replace springs on my 03 SKS800 they list three types
.347/47
.359/47
.375/47
I assuming the .375/47 is the stiffer spring, is that correct?

the first # is the dia. of wire the second # is the degree of twist

I think it's actually the degree of the angle between the two straight sections. Don't know the technical terms for them, but it's not "the twist" part.... ;-p

Don't know how stiff a spring you want to get but back in the day, I ran across a couple corn fed country boys with 93 T-cats. They were brothers and they were always breaking their torsion springs. Being the curious type and a fellow knuckle head with a t-Cat my self, ( you know - you always make friends with guy's that bought the same sled as yourself ) we were revelling in our superiority.... ( LOL ) what those guy were doing was replacing the springs with springs from a 2 up touring model. Just a thought.

Indy ~ you are showing the "OPENING ANGLE".

catdog ~ Check and see if Polaris makes a racing hand book. At least that is what doo calls it. It gives all the combination of settings and part numbers for springs to set your sled up.

On my sled I can use the stock springs for a rider weight up to 280lbs. Step up in spring size but down with other settings you start at 220lbs and can go up to 330lbs.
My point is a lot of setting can affect the weight a spring will carry.

I went with the heavy springs on mine, they max at 430lbs.
Stock Springs:
Wire Dia 11.11mm
Opening Angle 95*

Heaviest load springs Doo makes:
Wire Dia 11.89mm
Opening Angle 100*

Also I cross-checked my MXZ 700 parts with GRAND TOURING 700 the heavy load springs are the same part number but on the GT700 it is rated for up to 450lbs. Again different setups on the rest of the suspension.
