Track choices??

Refreshing a 1990 Indy 650 and as we all know the stock tracks weren't much so.... I have a track from a 1996 XLT I can use. (I think it's a 1") or should I buck up and get myself a new 1.25" Ripsaw. I definitely want to stud it as I may do a radar run once in a while.

Ripsaw is a great trail track. Depends on your riding style if you need the 1" or something taller. Where do you ride mostly? Soft loose snow a cobra track would be better. Hard packed trails a ripsaw will hook up better. I've had both.

This sled would be 85-90% trail use. All upper Michigan and northern Wisconsin

Wisconsin Trail's seem to be hard packed with lots of ice in the corners. Michigan trails have the sugar soft snow. Maybe a cobra track with studs?
