This is definitely not good news,but it does sound like Wakefield is willing to work with the club which is opposite of snowy river who was just doing PR damage when they claimed they would try to work with the club. Sounds like the biggest problem is there doesn't sound like there is another viable reroute. This is becoming the new normal unfortunately for our sport.

The re-route for this past season was a blessing. In reality, it was a temporary band aid. It was in a bad spot with the road & all of the homes in that area. It was causing issues with the homeowners & the county road for snow removal. Hopefully they can find an alternative before the new season is here.

I know it has been said the new owners of the ski hill have a history of not wanting to budge on negotiations but maybe time to try it again. its truly sad with all the closures, reroutes and repairs that have been needed to be done. some for years now. Especially when the area so heavily relies on the winter traffic.
