Trail Cleanup Update

Lots of work going on this weekend in the Keweenaw. Here's some of the work going on at the north end.

I can't believe that in pic 4 we took a thick forest and transformed it into a nice, wide trail. Using only saws, shovels, pulaskis and rakes!

We had a great time. Lots of laughs and some work got done!!! Thanks to the Trailside for the rooms!! Supper Sat. was awesome!

Too bad they ended up being on the same weekend, it would have been fun to work with your group. I did stop and fill out a Superior Club membership page and left a check with Kip so even though I couldn't help on the trail, I'm now a member so if nothing else you guys got a donation from me! Hopefully I'll be able to get a little involved in the future.
