Anyone out here ever tried the Trail Jamz music system in your helmet? Looks like a neat deal. Cool ad too.

I don't have it (yet) but I know the creator ( Rockmeister, he also does the Yamaheaters), and it's really cool system. And very well done.
Get the amp and you wont be disapointed.

I use Iasus XSound2 Motorcycle-ATV-Helmet Speakers with the volume control and an I pod. There is a volume control on the I-pod and in-line and its plenty loud! Just keep I-pod in jacket...seems alot easier then having that big thing on the side of your helmet....IMO

Looks like a good system, but if you already have an IPOD, it will cost you less money to just get a set of good noise cancelling earbuds (like these http://www.shure.com/americas/products/earphones-headphones/music-mobile/se115m-plus). I use these when mowing the lawn and sledding and I can't hear the machines. Just keep the IPOD in your jacket to extend battery life.

ezra...I'm always a little sssllloooowww - remote for my i-pod? I have one for my speaker system...but not one for my i-pod itself... that sounds like a great solution!

Really a remote that is awesome!!!!, That is the worst part having someone come up to you a talk and not being able to answer or have to take gloves off and dig into my jacket.

If you could throw a link up to what you use that would be great!

Personally the wireless remote is a better set up. No big bag on the side of your helmet plus the controls are in front of you instead of on the side where you have to fiddle to find them and they're half or more the cost of the product in question. The Monstercable one is $70 but you can find cheaper ones out there too. And don't forget you can use it in your car, boat, bedroom, wherever too.

I ordered this off of amazon.com and got it today. I am so excited it's too bad there is no more snow so I could try it out, but it will be good for the boat too. No more crawling in and out to change a song, it will come in handy when I am riding my bike too!
