Go to the tourism bureau office in the area you want to ride. They should have the physical maps for that area you want. Good for you as to getting the kids active on this!!! Enjoyment for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a couple and the kids do too, they keep stealing mine. I was looking to order some so we could plan it out ahead of time. One of mine is a newbie and I'm bringing 2 more newbies with me. I thought it would be a good exercise for them to do and teach them how to read a darn map!

You can get one when you arrive at your destination, they are everywhere; bars. restaurants, gas stations and hotels.

Being old school is getting tough anymore. I still rely on paper maps and county map book when needed.

Mi . gov will still send a paper state map. Just ordered 4.

If it's do'able prob best bet is a MI Welcome Center - it is a great resource. The one in Clare is stocked with unlimited hand held.

Ride safe and bundle up. Just got back yesterday from four days of riding. Great snow and smooth trails around the Cadillac and Traverse City areas.
