Anyone cook trailside?
Might bring along some ceddar brats and kindling to roast some brats.

Also, any good ideas for food to bring along for a quick meal? Looking to put on some serious miles. Thought about Muscle Milk, Jerky, Payday bars.

We do several cookouts a year while riding.

We bring hot dogs or brauts, buns, chips, drinks, etc. Build a big bonfire and roast 'em! No need to carry any wood along here in 'da UP.

We usually find a nice little lake, and then set up on the north shore. That way, the trees keep the wind off your back, and if there is any sun, it can be really nice.

Just watch that the sparks from the fire don't burn holes in any expensive clothing, or snowmobile seats!

Don't like doing bar/grill lunch since ride alone so always bring bottle of water then jerky, beef sticks, snicker bars & bread roll. Don't cook trailside but sounds like fun time.

We have did a few hot dogs trail side. We get off on a two track to get away from the main trail. Hot coco, pepper stick, energy bar, trailmix. The wife is good at packing food for a long ride on the trail.
One thing to remember....Please take your trash with you.

muff pot always cooking something I also use the U in the pipe big hose clamp around pipe holding a smaller hose clamp with butterfly nut on it for things like caned cheese or pizza sauce to dip those fresh hot bread sticks in or chilly for the dogs.
shrimp scampi Always sounds like a good Idea in the muff pot but the next yr of the smell of cooking butter on the pipe will be a constant reminder to not boil butter again lol.
If I did not have a muff pot I would starve in the woods who wants to drive to a bar when you just get to a fresh honey hole not me would rather go hungry
