Trailer Camping Spot

Trying to figure out a way to make a few more trips this year either solo, or with my son. Really thinking of camping in the trailer now that it's finished inside. I have a propane heater and the trailer is insulated and wired so it would be a cheap way to spend a weekend riding.

Anyone know where I could base out of that would be close to the trail and have a way for me to plug in to have the electric work so we'd have lights, phone charger and maybe a TV or coffee pot to work? Really don't want to run a generator but could if nothing else worked out.

I figure if I could get a place to park for 2 or 3 nights at a time, I could probably add an extra trip or two to my season.

Don't know where you want to ride, but a few years ago My father-in-law, my kids and I took the motorhome up to twin lakes in Michigan and stayed at Krupps for a few days. They were great with us and we were able to plug in for I think $25.00 a night. I don't know if they still do it or what they would charge now but they plowed a spot for us and they have a small store that we were able to use the bathroom in (when it was open). Sandy checks this site periodically or you can call her. They have a website of their own as well. http://www.exploringthenorth.com/krupps/krupps.html and a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Krupps-Resort/171048686261145 . They are great people and they are right on the trail.

Got a spot so we'll see how it works out. Loaded up this afternoon and heading out in the morning. No TV, but mini fridge, radio, coffee maker, Mr Buddy LP heater, cot, table, chairs and carpet squares for the floor.

Who knows, if it work out this time I may be able to do this more often.
