I have just purchased a used trailer. The aluminium ramp has heavy 1x10 wood strips on it for the ski's and track. I am looking to replace the wood with something lighter and something that's more slippery. I was wandering around the local home improvement store and saw some strips of vinyl that's designed to be used for window trip. It fits about the size I need and is much lighter than the wood. Does anyone have any suggestions on material they may have used or if this vinyl material would hold up in really cold temperatures?
