Looking at a enclosed trailer on auction. It's a renegade 7x22 with a 5' V. Can you fit 4 sleds in that? Only need to hauls 3 for 2 more yrs but then need to go to 4

Me thinks not.

2 place = snowmobile trailers are standard 18 ft
3 place = snowmobile trailers are standard 22 ft.
4 place = snowmobile trailers are standard 26 ft

Assume at least 2 are 144's. just gotta decide if I want to get it and even if I can't fit 4, I know I could fit 3 in it. Don't need to haul 4 for 2 more years.

I have a 23 ft inline. The 23 ft includes the 5 ft V. We put 2 144's and 2 136's in it just fine with room for gear. You will be fine.

Is yours a 7' wide or 7.5' wide? Can you drive all the sleds in one way or do you need to drive some in from one direction and back others in?

The trailer is 7' wide. I load from the rear door only. Drive one in all the way forward 144, then reverse the next one in 144, then drive the next one 136 & finally reverse the last 136 in. I've never had an issue. Went with the inline trailer 2 yrs ago because they tow so nice. Pull it with a 1500 no issues.

Thanks for the feedback Sam. It's a moot point now as I was outbid anyway. Still looking though.

If it's 7' x 22' with a 5' V (27' total), you can fit 4 long tracks in it just fine. I put four 155"-156" sleds in ours. You have to drive them all in from the front so that they all face the back, or back them all in if it doesnt have a door in the front. Slide the skis and track against the wall so you can drive the next one right along side it so they are staggared. The track of the last sled will fit right up in the nose of the trailer. I called bullchit when i looked at it after i drove the first one in, but they all fit!

Just to confirm what others have been saying you can fit 4 no problem. We have the same trailer that you are looking looking at and it has worked really well for us.

Get a roll of tape, mark out the dimetions on driveway and see if the sleds fit inside the taped out area.
