Thats good. Don't forget to pull a all nighter. Work 10 hrs, come home load up sleds and gear, pick up your buddy, his sled and gear, drive 400 miles in the truck then unload sleds and ride 100-300 miles on sleds.

You forgot to add, "in a blizzard going up and coming back"...have lost a few "volunteers" this way....I always explain that I can SEE better than they can and that the fancy yellow glasses I wear makes me have x-ray vision thus enabling me to drive thru blinding snowstorms at high rates of speed, all the while explaining that DEER DON'T MOVE IN SNOWSTORMS and though we can't stop very well, we won't miss a single minute of a good weekend ride.

Some strange reason, they are busy after the first trip for the rest of the winter.

How could I forgot about the white knuckle drive in a snowstorm.

Drove in snowstorm in lower mi to go to eastern U.P. only to get to the big bridge and it was closed. Was'nt bad just rode that side for a day.

That's nothing. Load and pack 5 sleds, gear and food for a week drive 1200 miles one way. Pay for a guide and all the expensive garden tools and book bag and put on 250 miles total for 5 days of riding all the while digging and pulling your sleds out every hour of every day. I can't wait to go back to Togo next winter! Gas should be cheaper next year right??? LOL.

Thanks John!!

No way I can show that to the wife. She already doesn't understand why I love this sport. She would really think I'm dumb if she read this, especially if she got out the calculator!!!

That was great:D

10. Glue a broom to your mx helmet, try to put as many yard tools as you can fit into your largest bookbag, and stand on your newly purchased sled. Now, have your buddies repeatly shake the sled and pick up the front and drop it as you scream ring ding braap, ring ding braap, ring ding braap and pretend you're going past parkview trying to look cool to all of the sledders outside.

lmfao!

Thanks John

Now that was funny!
We sledders are SOOOOO misunderstood, the “normal” people I talk to just don’t get why I love snowmobiling so much. How could anyone not want to have the privilege to do everything in the posts above! I feel sorry for the people that just can’t understand how much FUN this sport is!

Adding amendment to how to prepare for snowmobiling.

"Prepare to bend over a table and take it up the tailpipe by Mother Nature. You are her bitch and she will make it snow at the most inopportune times."

Borderline inappropriate for this board? Yes, but isn't it the truth?"
