the wife wants to go on a week or less trip some place warm in the next month or two .we have done the orlando ,vegas and california stuff before .we are not big beach goers we like seeing and doing things .any suggestions would be nice .thanks .i want to go to south dakota with the sleds but got the veto .

Try a 5 or 7 day cruise starting in San Juan for calmer waters. You will have a new island to tour every day!

Sled TL, you will have a great time. Where are you sailing from and where are all your stops? I did a seven-day cruise from San Juan years ago and really enjoyed it.
and if u are lucky u can get on a Carnival cruse and get one of the rooms that had the septic tank run off running down the wall or one of the fire cabins .
I dont think u could pay me to get on a carnival boat with the 6+ yr string of bad stuff that happens to them. they cant go 2 mo with out some kind of issue hitting the news

Leaving from San Juan then going to like Barbados st Lucia, idk whole bunch of islands can't remember them at the moment exactly. I've never been on a cruise before because most of my trips in my life have been snowmobiling or skiing trips lol. Cold weather for the win!!!

Believe me I would rather be riding, but the grandparents are paying for it all so can't resist I guess.
Since you mention doing things way not fly into Las Vegas and rent a car. You can go to some very beautiful National Parks in Utah, Zion, Bryce Canyon, you can easily drive to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, there are others National Parks just farther maybe check out Moab. The other direction is Death Valley which should be on the warm side also.
The cost of this trip should be reasonable and it's a very cool area especially if you like to hike. In the summer it's very hot in Zion and Bryce.
mspease is right I`ve been on 9 cruises and going out of San Jaun is the best. Plane flight doesn't cost that much more and you are guaranteed a lot warmer weather. We have found that Celerbreity and Royal caribbian lines have always treated us awesome. Sorry about the spelling I cant figure out how to get spell check when I reply to a thread.
