We rode over it on our 2 wheel Goldwing and also on our Goldwing Trike many times.
I like to tell this story-
A GW club in western Michigan use to put on a ride called "The Midnight Ride to the Bridge".
Our group would take the afternoon Badger Ferry from Wi to Lundington, Mi and then ride down to Muskegon where the ride started from.
It left there at midnight and we had a half way stop on 75. Then on to over the bridge arriving at St Ignace for breakfast.
After breakfast, we would tour and then finally get to bed early for our ride home to Wisconsin on sunday morning.
Our last ride years ago with that group had 78 motorcycles on the ride.

Sounds like a lot of fun on the bikes. Do you still do the ride? I did the Bridge walk on Labor Day a couple of times.

Once across the Bridge on the side x side we are continuing North to Trout Lake then Southwest to Cut River then back to St. Ignace. I also plan on going to the Casino that night and breaking the bank. (theirs).

I don't know as we have not been there in a few years.
It was put on by the GWRRA club in Muskegon.
It was fun but exhausting and we are getting older !!

How is it riding on the grating, or did you stay on the solid surface lane, even that might be interesting being able to see through the bridge deck. I've walked across on Labor Day, that grating is spooky walking across.
