truck stuck on the trail

Was riding up in Tomahawk area this week and came across a pick up truck on the trail.

It was around midnite and we were heading home when I saw lights through the woods, I thought it was the groomer but when we got around the curve we came upon this truck sideways across the trail. Whoa! *** is this about. This guy and girl claimed they were helping a friend get his sled unstuck and then got stuck themselves. Okay so we help dig the truck out and get it back on the trail, they gave us thanks and continued on.
We watched as they drove off and got to the road about a quarter mile away.
He managed to bounce it off a few more trees, broke his mirror off and almost got stuck again. Not sure but I think he was hammered.

Not a half hour later, we were crossing our lake and saw headlights coming at us.
Two trucks were drag racing across the lake, on the snowmobile trail. Unbeleivable.

Thats some wild stuff. A few years back we were cruising the trails around Island Lake (south of Hurley) and I come around a sweeper and coming at me was a Chevy pulling a 4 place trailer..... in the middle of the trail. That guy was all kinds of lost!

Maybe they weren't helping a friend, but trying to find a nice quiet place to...you know...watch the stars

We came across the same thing in Amasa, Mi. Couple of locals were traveling down fire road to the main trail. They kinda veered off trail into the soft stuff. Helped them dig it out and they mentioned checking traps in the woods for deer. I didn't know you trapped deer, I always thought you shot deer with a bow or gun.

Thats why I put the sled away about dinner time.
