Blair made the sport of sno-cross. Tucker is just the next best thing. Any news on Blair? How his recovery is going? This has been a slow year for me. Ive been out of the loop!!

Sno-cross was created for TV coverage. Cross country sled racing did not translate very well into a TV format. Sno-cross needed a star and Blair Morgan was IT. Without Morgan we probably would not even have sno-cross to watch anymore. Both Morgan and Hibbert can fly sleds but interesting enough that ability did not translate into Moto X supremacy. To me it gets boring pretty fast. Sno-cross has virtually nothing in common with trail or cross country riding. There are rumors that the 3 factories still involved in organized racing will soon be discontinuing their efforts. Too expensive in today's economy.

I would say Blair changed the sport the most. The one thing that I think is sad is that he has just disappeared since his injury. Their are others who have suffered similar injurys and still hung around the sport. For example Doug Henery, David Bailey. I think it would be nice to see him poke his head out and just say ya what happend to me sucked but life goes on. Unless I missed it?

Blair Morgan was riding older equipment and dominating. Tucker just gets free reign of Daddy's R&D. I wish I could go out and try crazy stuff and not have to worry about fixing it.

i agree morgan made the sport what it is and hibbert is showing how the sport can be dominated. just like germy mcgrath and ricky carmichal did in moto........dominate

This is like comparing football teams from 20 years ago. Blair was no doubt a pioneer of the sport and Tucker has elevated what Blair did. What about that Toni Hankikin guy he was before Blair. And remeber when you talk about the money thing Blair went to Skidoo.

How many family sleds do you think Tucker actually got to beat on? He is riding and wrecking anything the factory can pump out. Lets get Tucker on a 1997 MXZ 583 and I'll race him with my fat carcass on the same model sled. I am just kidding...glad I got you to read it though!!

I agree with harvest, Blair bought the standup riding style to snocross but Toni was the one who brought the double jump to snocross that was a huge step in the sport!

Get Real!

If you think Blair didn't work hand in hand with R&D and not have to worry about getting new sleds while at AC or Ski-Doo, I think you are not living in reality. He worked with Kirk at AC before Tucker was even racing.

And not to take anything away from Blair but as 910 said, Haikonen although not as dominant as BM or TH was snocross 'first' star.

Tony was a little ahead of his time I think. Had he had the better sleds he probably would have done sum dominating! Just imagine jumping that stuff like he used to with that old technology? He was the start of our sleds getting a lot better!!

I don't much about racing, but I've heard someone call out the idiots that race on the trail BMWs - blair morgan wannabes.
