Two Harbors - 8”+ 12/31/18

It was extremely painful to be leaving Two Harbors this morning (12/31) with 8+” of fresh powder as we stepped outside. Add that to what we had ridden the past two days and today would have been epic!!! I’ve never been more tempted to call the wife requesting a “snow day”. Ha! Unfortunately we had to get back home.

We stayed at Superior Shores. They have a loop thru town that connects up with the state trail heading either direction (south toward Duluth or north toward Silver Bay, Fineland).

We stayed in one of the lodge buildings. Access trail just north of Superior Shores was opened, but not groomed. Thru town (behind Holiday gas station) was open and groomed.
