Two Harbors, MN area

A couple buddies and I are looking to ride from Two Harbors, MN Sunday, 1/2/2022 through Tuesday, 1/4/2022. We have never ridden in MN before and any advise/help will be appreciated. In WI gas and food are always easy to find and reachable. I am concerned that gas and food may be farther in MN. Anybody that knows that part of the state and trails please help.

There is gas right in two harbors at the holiday next to the AmericInn. Between there and Silver Bay I think there is a groomer barn that has 91 non-oxy. Ride up the NSST and stop at the overlook in between the two towns. Finland has bars and gas on trail, and you should make it up to the Trestle Inn. There is never a time that I have been worried about gas but definitely don't pass any up for a top off. Clubs are starting to groom up that way so you should have a good time.

I've got reservations up there in a couple weeks, too. As you go North on the NSST (North Shore trail or CJ Ramsted trail) there are services at Beaver Bay, Silver Bay, Finland, Tofte, Lutsen. Another good ride is up the Yukon Trail to Isabella, the Knotted Pine Inn there has gas and a bar (no kitchen but they will make you a pizza). Closer to Two Harbors is Hugo's in Brimson that has services, as does Pequaywan Lake Inn. Grab a local club map when you get in town to see where they all are. Another nice ride is up to Hoyt Lakes, all services there as well.

Plenty of food and gas in Two Harbors. Plenty of gas available up and down the shore from there.
Don't forget to eat at the Trestle Inn in Finland.
