The groomers went out Wednesday and laid a nice smooth base. With the cold temps and no traffic it should have set up well. We need more snow but it looks like that may happen this weekend! Think Snow!

Trail is just like Mrs Bear said at least from Marensco to 13 south to Cisco lake, flat hard packed and needing more snow but a great start.

The groomers went out tonight panning 1 last time then they will park them in the barn until we get more snow (hopefully sometime in the next 7 days)

Groomers are out. Trails are in fair to good condition just thin in areas. The groomers will continue to run as conditions permit. We could use more snow so keep your fingers crossed we’ll get some this week!

Use caution there will be some icy spots through out the system and there could be some rocks and other obstacles that are not completely covered by snow yet.

Trail 3 North – good

Trail 3 south to WI – good

Trail 2 – good with some thin spots

Trail #13 south – good

Trails are in good condition and the groomers are running daily. We do have a few thin areas and icy spots through out the system but all in all the trails are good. We also received 2-3 inches overnight

No problem! We did got down to 2 and over to Watersmeet and you are spot on mrsrunningbear. Trails were smooth with some rocks mixed in, but not bad. A bit more snow will take care of that. 171 miles of overall very good trails today!

Good to hear, heading that direction tomorrow assuming we can got out of Dodge in the morning, we're getting ice tonight!!

Just got back from the Watersmeet area 12th-15th. Trails were good. The grade coming into and out of Watersmeet was getting thin as I don't think the base is really set. I run sno-trackers, and I was hitting rocks. Sleds were pushing bad in corners, and all in all the trails were pretty loose with the cold temps we had while up there. Also, we managed to not get hurt on one **** of a hole dug out on the exit of a bridge crossing a few miles out of Watersmeet. I've seen bridges get dug out on the entry and exit, but this one had to be more than 2' deep. Caught my whole group off guard and sent us airborne, even at 25mph. No one got hurt, but startled for sure. I don't know if the grade will hold up to the warm temps this week. It's going to hurt them.

We have plans to go back up Feb. 5th - 8th. Hope more snow is in the forecast before then.

I think you have too much front ski pressure on your snow trackers back the transfer off a bit.... I rode 3 thru WM to Greenland yesterday 109 back visited with Kip and Todd and I didn't have any push problems with my snowtrackers. However 3 needed a grooming and I don't know if it did get groomed came back on 107 which was good. Everything north of BC white and excellent on Jan 17. WM a good starting point imo as of yesterday. Just south Vilas changing quickly now with warm temps and traffic was Very good in AM....Snirty Fair by 6PM.
