Groomers went out last night and will continue to groom as conditions permit. Conditions are fair to poor.

We rode our snowmobiles from Paulding to Rockland yesterday. It is rideable but it's like the good, the bad and the ugly out there. Icy corners, some dirt spots and wet areas but in most places you can get around pretty easily, then there will be miles of beautiful snow covered trail.

Trail 3 North of Watersmeet - fair with a few wet spots
Trail 3 south to WI - fair/poor
Trail 2 - fair/poor wet spot west of trail 13 south and further west by Barb lake
Trail #13 south - fair/poor there are 2 wet areas south of US Hwy 2 crossing one about 100 ft long
THINK SNOW! we need it....

How were they from Bruce's to Rockland? Safe enough? I heard a few wet spots... are they like these photos?

Safe enough, trail 8 has a few bad spots about 1/4 mile long which were the worst, trail 3 north rough until a little before FR730 that the trail runs on. The waters not to deep and most places were easy to get around

Trails are good to excellent! 8+ inches of new snow makes all the difference in the world!
There is still a marked wet spot on Trail #2 west of Trail #13 south.
Trail 3 North to Bond Falls – Very Good
Trail 3 south to WI – Very Good
Trail 2 west of Watersmeet – Good – one signed wet area west of Trail 13 so.
Trail 2 east of Watersmeet - Very Good
Trail #13 south – Very Good
THINK SNOW!
Our trail system has numerous bridges and large bumps can form by these bridges in between groomings. For your safety please remember this when riding and be prepared to slow up and cross the bridges at a reasonable speed!

Trails are in good shape at this time, we do have some warm temps in the forecast. We made it through the last warm up and we have a better base now so we should make it through. Use caution as wet spots may appear again

We have vacation lined up for starting Feb. 27th for the week, to be based out of Watersmeet and back pack up the Keeweenaw. I have my doubts at this time that Watersmeet will be worth a hoot after this weekend, much less 5 days after that. I can only hope.......

Groomers will be heading out today Feb 25 for the first time since Feb 14th. We have a storm total since Feb 23 of 12+″. We were down to dirt on most of the trails so the re-building the base process will begin again. Please ride kindly as we try to build a base. Use caution for wet spots
Trail 3 North to Bond Falls – fair
Trail 3 south to WI – Fair
Trail 2 west of Watersmeet – fair
Trail 2 east of Watersmeet – fair
Trail #13 south – fair

Good news bring the chain saw there are a few big trees across the trail on 13 south to Cisco lake and going west to Marenisco but plenty of snow to work with.

107 was not groomed yesterday but was lots of fun with the fresh powder. Forest roads were awesome yesterday! Will post some pics in a lil bit

Report for Today; Poor - we are down to mostly dirt and a little ice on most of the trail system. The groomers last time out was on March 3rd. Now we wait and watch the weather! The trails don't officially close until March 31
