Utah Trip

When you fly out and rent sleds, what do you do with regards to all your other gear? Do you rent that as well? Or do you pack and bring on the plane? It seems hard to be able to pack your helmet, gloves, jacket, bibs etc. I am guessing that would take multiple suitcases for each person. Someday I would love to do a trip like that and I would definitely rent a sled but wondered about all the other gear.
I have heard of some guys ship their gear out a couple days ahead of time. Just another option.

That's easy, the good looking one.

Amazing photos! Talk about some scenery. Can't top those blue sky days. Looks like your guide was really "in the trees".

Thanks Skiroule. You must have another sled for sale you're trying to butter me up for! The weather was gorgeous both Sat and Sun. Blue skies and 35 degrees. Monday was a bit cooler and snowy. Up on top of the mtns it was really socked in and you couldn't see 50 yds. We came over a ridge and had to do a long steep downhill and you couldn't see the bottom. The guides words of advice was " Well, theres a tree about 1/2 way down, go to the right of it." Well anybody who's ridden out west knows on the down hills your basically at the mercy of your sled so once it started screaming down the hill and you keep waiting for this tree to pop out so you can go to the right, not much fun. No casaulties though with that however another group did have a guy hit a tree on a down hill and actually split his helmet right down the middle. Ended up with a concussion and a broken nose, sounds weird to say but he got lucky.
