Earlier today a snowmobiler found on the trail a "SLEEP APNEA" machine (also known as CPAP machine) and took it into KRUPP'S MINI-MART in TWIN LAKES. A short while later another snowmobiler found the tubing that went with it and turned it in also. If anyone reading this knows anyone snowmobiling in the western UP, that uses this medical equipment and has lost it please contact them to let them know where it is. They can contact Krupp's Mini-Mart 906-288-3888.

Will everyone reading this help keep it To The Top. Thanks

Thanks Sledhead--couldn't get into title so inserted it first sentence. Appreciate. Hopefully the right person is going to be reading johndee.com. Deb has put it on 2 radio stations and called other business's along the way.

I took care of the title, hope that's ok now.

HAHAHA, I thought I was the only one trucking around with one of those on my sled!

They go for around $1000, someone is missing that.

Not an odd thing to have in saddlebag if you are backpacking, staying somewhere different every night. It is surprised what is found along the trails by snowmobilers and groomer drivers. We try to post items found-and have some success and some failure. Years ago found a bag of insulin and had no results with contacts so they must have called their Dr. for a call in prescription wherever they were at that time. This person with the CPAP probably didn't know until arriving at destination last night so we are hoping to have some luck today. Have to keep this TO THE TOP so it doesn't get buried for at least a week, if we can. Might take until the owner arrives home. We love happy endings and we do have them once in a while.

Perhaps a thread section titled "found" might be a good idea for situations such as this? If you lose somehting of value this would be the place dedicated for info/assistance?

Funny this came up. I was just thinking (almost started a thread about it)last week of taking mine along while saddlebagging, but was concerned that all the banging around on the sled would affect the electronics of the machine. I guess i'm not alone on this subject....LOL....
