Good News
The insurance adjuster came out Saturday and they are paying for a whole new roof. Another thing that I found out wheh we were on the roof is the contractor that put the current shingles on did not put them on right. I did not know that you could put shingles on wrong.....however he had the nails in the wrong spot, above the glue strip, and he also did not have the shingles over lapping correctly allowing the wind to get under them and lift them farther than it would have if they were nailed in the right place. So now my insurance is going after his insurance company to get the money back that they are giving me. I know he is not going to be too happy about that but I don't really care as long as I get my new roof and have it put on correctly, that is all I care about.
