Does anyone know if the swamp between Northport and Bean City is groomed and no open water or mud holes?

The swamp is froze enough to ride a snowmobile across, no open water.

It is not safe enough yet to hold a groomer.

How are the trails overall? Planning on riding Waupaca Cty trails Friday.

Any word on the Wolf River-thinking it probably isn't good.

The river thru Fremont is wide open in the middle. I rode to Fremont and back yesterday, and the trails were an 8 or 9 out of 10, Greenville, Dale, and Fremont were freshly groomed. Not sure if a lot of people got out last night or today, but going for a ride tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the info Indy_500. Going to ride west of Fremont, hoping the trails are decent before the warm-up on Saturday.

FYI, Zone 4 & 7 in Waupaca Co. are closing Sat. at 6:00 AM. Check maps at Waupaca Co. Parks for these locations.

Rode up from Lake Poygan, made a 100+ miles loop, overall some good riding, but the warm weekend temps will take their toll. Hope we get the "big storm" mid-week.
