We went camping this past weekend just north of Crystal Falls on the Michigamme Reservoir. Camped at one of the campgrounds that WE Energies has on the Paint, Michigamme, and Menominee Rivers. Nice campground, clean and at $10 a night much cheaper than the State Campgrounds where you have to pay for a vehicle pass in addition to nightly fee. We paddled a section of the Michigamme River from Hemlock Dam down to M-69, nice light rapids. And, it has enough water which was nice considering how dry it is in the Yoop right now.
