For sure one of the nicest people we met UP there. We make it a point to stop by whenever we can...always feel obliged to give good people our hard earned cash.

Hopefully Gene will keep it running!

Stopped there thursday and gassed up.We gave him our condolences and talked for a bit.We were glad to see he was open and he had a pretty good crowd at the bar.

many years ago had a sled burn down, Charlotte took care of my wife and family while we went to get the trailer, Gene let us use his shop and tools , wouldnt take a penny for the use of shop , they dont make em like that anymore !!! RIP Charlotte

There are many stories like this out there. Huge hearts in that place have taken care of many people over the years.

We will miss you Char.
