Grass is greening in SE WI and ironically I haven’t seen any lawn treatment trucks in my hood yet Truegreen ,Weedman etc. I reworked my deal with Truegreen a couple of weeks ago figured I would see them right away. Not so but I’m good with that don’t like mowing before end of April. My neighbor across the street loves to mow he will mow sometimes 3 to my 1 but no show so far but he did his Spring clean up with his son over the weekend which I did a couple of weeks ago. Big rain well over 3” of rain last week puddles everywhere so surprised when the neighbor had his tractor out to haul his clean up debris. No way for me tractor would have been buried in mud and water.

Ground is pretty soggy here in the Kaukauna area. We had lots of rain the last week or so. Grass is till brownish. Been working on my sled to get it ready for next season. Should have that done here soon. I'm really ready for it to dry up, a lot, especially at the cabin. I'm getting a load of gravel for my new shed and there is no way the truck will get to my place unless the road dries out.

Ha, still plenty of snow on the ground here, it's 6 degrees as I speak. Gonna be awhile, but don't have a lot of yardwork to do up here, it's all natural just the way I like it.

Heck, there is still a good 24-30" of ice on the lake at this point. This stuff is not going anywhere soon unless it warms up and rains, it's looking like another May ice out which is at least 2 weeks behind schedule. I'm so ready for nice weather to get here.
I'm beyond ready here but my season at the shop is coming in way too fast, wish we could have eased into it, our trailer opens up in about another week, chomping at bit for that too as well as getting on the water again

seeing some boats in the water here already, 70's early next week, all the rain we have gotten I expect people will be mowing next week already, some lawns by our shop already look like they are ready. Paul.... what you got there I wouldn't consider that "yard work".... Ill just "be in the yard" LOL!

Brian, my yard work is mainly doing piers, shorestations, etc. Will be doing some cleanup from the Thanksgiving Storm which really brought a lot of stuff down and is still buried, 40 and sun today, rain tomorrow, who knows when ice will go out this year. I'm going to predict we are about two weeks behind so 4/29 is my guess.
