Weather forecasting

After reading this article, http://cbs2chicago.com/local/winter.storm.coming.2.1352925.html ,It occurred to me that John was talking about this possible storm since the beginning of last week.

How do you do that John? Ol' Tommy Skillethead on WGN, with all his fancy schmancy computers can hardly ever predict an accurate forecast two days away. Maybe less is more and too much information can cloud (no pun intended :) ) ones judgment.

Thanks for your hard work John and BRING ON THE STORM!!!! :)

But John has said that there were a couple of different possibilities with the storm and the models keep flipping back and forth. If The Chicago and Milwaukee guys say snow people run out and buy food and water as if this impending doom is going to kill us all, so with that being said I would think they wait until they're pretty sure there will be a major snow event before they talk about it.

Local meteorologists cannot talk about "possible" big kick azz snow storms, because they all hate winter, and they think most people hate snow, so if they were to talk about it, they would get too many phone calls from the haters, and that wouldn't make the station manager happy, so he would "have a word" with the offending weater person. :)

John is da man!

Tom's a good guy. He used to talk about potential big things in the longer range (5-8 days), but does not do it as much lately. Not sure why.

Still looking good. Not quite time to run out and buy bread and water, but could make snow lovers in the central Midwest very happy next week!
