Older poo '94 xlt. In need of new bushings, does not seem like my dealer sells them? But would gladly sell me a new set of weights with bushings. Not so sure of this parts guy, also I was looking for the buttons on the inside of secondary, guy looks at me as if i'm speaking chinese. I've already tried the ones from cat, they are just a tad to big, (still wobbly) thought they were all the same. Anybody got a line on them? Bushings that is, around the twin cities.

Special tool is the way to go. keeps from damaging them. If you can find a shop that has the bushings, just have your arms with you. They may install them for you for free.

Artic Cat sells the bushings as a kit, and they fit polaris weights.....I think I paid 12 bucks last time I bought some a couple years ago

Heads up on putting new ones in weights.Got a drill press?Find a drill bit that the end of bit that goes in drill is just a hair larger than bushing, put bit in jaws upside down, cutting end up in jaws. (and with drillpress off of coarse) push out old one and press in a new one.You will never ruin one this way.Can be done with a hammer tapping them out but better chance of getting them cockeyed this way.

I usually do this also but i hope you meant a drill bit a hair smaller than the bushing?
