For flatland running, I am running 10-62's in my 07 600 RMK. Slp blue pink spring in the primary, stock secondary spring, and a helix from the switchback, can't remember what that is off hand. Make sure that the weights all weigh in at 62 grams. Mine were all different weights, 62.5 62.3 and 62.1, it does make a difference. Target rpm is 8250. I have also noticed that rpm's will drop if you run the 1080 belt as opposed to the 1115 or 1122 belt. The 1080 is a softer compound, and a lot cheaper. Hope this helps!

You can look up parts and such here: http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp then go to www.ronnies.com for pricing. Now, Ronnies is cheaper than most dealers, but I buy my stuff from the dealer to help them stay in business. LOL.

Later, Skylar.

thanks Skylar,and for the links.
i thought 10-62 is what i should use, but was looking for more imput. with different weight amounts, how did you correct that?
sled didn't come with a spare belt, sent son to dealer to pick up one. he came back with a $180.00 belt.(wow). it is a different belt, just by looking at material. just using stock belt that came with for now.(not sure what that is right now). will need to check out when i get to sled.(storing place)
last time out, son said it was 8400 rpms. trying to get dialed in for around here. and trying to do myself, and of course with son to get him trained.lol
i try to stick with my dealer, as he has always been good to me and like to return favor. will even throw in discounts here and there, so kinda hard not to go back. will let you know what i come up with. thanks again.

180 dollar belt, yes, that would be the 1115 belt. LOL. That belt should last a long time, 3400 miles on my first one. My buddy was dealing with some issues on his 900 RMK, at one point, while we were climbing a small hill in deep snow, he was so pissed 'cause the belt was slipping, he just pinned it. He had so much belt smoke coming out from under the hood it looked like a car doing a burnout. LOL. The sheaves got so hot, they cracked! He ran that belt (1115) for the rest of that winter, and all of last winter. He just replaced it this season.

That sled should have 10-58's in it, if still set up from the factory. 8400 isn't too bad, you a little over peak HP, but not by too much. Stock helix should be a 56/42/36, if you run the 07 Switchback helix (62/42/36) it will pull much harder out of the hole, and still have a great back shift.
