Wetmore BP sold to Holiday

Guess why this is such a big deal.......

I hear Holiday does not intend to get a liquor license.
Now I have to drive all the way in to town.
Goodbye to the coldest beer cave in the UP. (as advertised) It is a sad day.

That totally sucks! I look forward everytime I go there to get special beers and the occaisonal bottle of liquor. I hope they keep the special beers!

I saw that, must have been in the last month. having a place in town it doesnt really affect me, i wonder if they will change their tune with time, that will be alot of business lost for sure. Did you do any fishing while you were up?

no beer but you will be able to get 2 chuckwagons for $2.22 or mix it up and live on the edge with a ham and cheese and a chuckwagon for 2.22

I did a little fishing with no success. We were going for steelhead on the fly rod.

Ezra, Holiday gas stations don't sell beer?

That doesn't bother me, just keep selling gas.
We stay across the street at the Super 8 (since Rick from Hillcrest passed away years ago) and always easy to get gas at the beginning and at he end of the day.
We've been going to Munising since 1980!!
