What a Difference in One Week

A week ago we were hunkered down with a blizzard not seen in these parts since 1888. Today the temp is near 60, the streets are dry and we took the Spyder for a one hour ride. Go figure.... Wisconsin weather indeed!



Just around town and a few country roads, felt good to be out in the sun and fresh air again. Noticed the first of the fishing boats out on Lake Winnebago. Things should green up fast this coming week or two with the snow melt and warmer temps. Have a good week everyone, should be a nice one!

WOW! Green up? We are no where near that in Vilas and hope for bare ground in next 7 days or so. Piles will be here well into May and no idea about lake ice out either. Hopefully birds will appear plenty of bugs to chow down.

And here in northern Illinois neighbors are already mowing their yards. Amazing the difference 300 miles makes.

Yep fired up the Monte yesterday. First time since last fall. Little gas down the carb and charge the battery. Fired right up! Week ago I was out in the field with the sled....

YAAAAAAAY!!! got up to camper trailer this weekend however didn't stay overnight as water not on yet but other than snow piles and drifts pretty much melted....gone !!!! and will be putting mustang back on the road tomorrow! YIPEEEEEE!!!!
