What Do We Know About All Terrain Segways?

I had an opportunity to ride off trail Segways in a tropical environment which was soft sand, tree groves, uneven trails with bumps and of course flat paved trails. I really liked it and took to it quickly weaving in an out of trees and doing donuts in soft sand. I started to think this would really be fun on WI bike trails. Anyone else into this? What did you buy and where can you use it in WI & MI? Anything else you can tell me???

yes bought a couple off the CPD at auction...with the big fat tires for off roadin' it...rode em around fer a spell then sold them....they would be a hoot to take all around though...lotsa fun and they go fast....ya gotta be careful though...remember SHAWNO at HCS....he wrecked one and it ultimately killed him from the injuries....it slammed him hard....took a couple of years but he did die....so don't let the warm fuzzy feeling take over ya.....be awares juts like a sled or bike

We did this last summer in Breckenridge. Lots of fun. Surprised but those things could take us right up the trails up the mountain. I think they'd be neat to have.

Yeah I was surprised of the climbing power up hill ...down hill a little different with gravity pulling ya faster and have to lean back to slow. Tracker what brand and model do police departments use? ...sounds like what I'm looking for. I'm thinking maybe skate board protection as going to be some serious road rash when that off happens.lol... I'm really surprised segways have not taken off ....larger sport market I had a blast and want more and my wife did ok too but alcohol mave have been involved with her good time. All inclusive don't ya know.lol
