What is the earliest in the year you have ever turned on the home air conditioning?

OK, high of 82 degrees in Northern Illinois the last two days.Closing up the house during the day, opening windows at night.

Never before have I slept with all windows open at night in the middle of March.

The forecast has highs near 80 for the next week.

Who is going to break down and turn on the air at home, and then admit it when they do?

Already been blasting it in the truck. If this keeps up I will put the window unit in the bedroom. I am not shy to admit it.

SUMMER SUCKS

Hate to admit it, but yesterday in the truck and today at home. My son was begging us to turn on the home ac yesterday but we told him to tough it out. Today I couldn't take it any more. It rained on and off all day and was is so muggy I turned it on mostly for dehumidification. If this keeps up well end up spending all the money saved on heating this winter. Ugh.

This weather SUCKS! Took the kids out to play, pushed them on the swing next thing I know I'm getting bit by a mosquito! Come on! Thought about the air tonight but we have a nice breeze, just hot up stairs b/c the wife open all the windows downstairs and left the up stairs closed up.

Had it on all winter except for maybe 9-10 days :( Then again I live in Florida. I have been out on the boat fishing multiple times this winter though :p

Haven't just yet but I have been boating twice already and planning on boating all next week. It's mid march and I already have more time on my boat than my sled this year. :(

I would be boating to if my boat wasn't stuffed all the way to the back of the warehouse it is in. The water goes on April 15th. Shore power on the 1st. Anyone looking for work who would like to wax a boat? It needs to be high speed wheeled out first. Then waxed. Switched marinas this year. Cindy we need to hook up in the middle of lake Mi. This summer for a floating picnic. Makin' the annual Chicago Booze run tomorrow.

As far as the AC, it needs to hit a steady 82 plus before my dime pays for air. I live on a river and get a steady breeze. That helps a lot. Besides I am never home. The boat air runs all summer long. Electric is part of the slip rent.

Usually not until mid August, pull basement air until then. 2 foot of insulation also helps.
Don't open windows much. Too many skunks. Too bad the pelts were not worth more.

I'm more comfortable when its warmer since I freeze my butt off under 75, so I really won't want AC until about 85-90.
