What restaurants have a Friday "all you can eat" fish fry in Minocqua area?

Bob, I'm sure the Chamber of Commerce is scratching their heads regarding your comments. Here in Wisconsin, any town with 10 restaurants is considered a "Mecca of Cuisine". Plus we got a Subway in just about every gas station across the state. And don't get me started on the Cheese Curds and Live Bait!!

I used to look forward to a good ol' Wisconsin bar burger, and even those are getting hard to find. Also, how much longer is "Friday Fish Fry" and "Saturday Prime Rib" going to be a thing?

Jacobis Junction in Hazelhurst. A bit pricy, but great cod or walleye. Not all you can eat however.

Perkins used to have one, but they got rid of it. I like fish fry's that are all you can eat, preferably with tasty fries.

Living in Green Bay, WI we are used to Perch on Friday and I mean GREAT PERCH from a joint like Maricques.
I ate an all you can eat fish in Eagle River, WI once and it was crap fish, yuk! You get what you pay for
Spoiled I guess.
Good fish is pricey!

Oh nice scare off another newbie....lol...
My problem with all you can eat is that I took it as a challenge. ...lol.....now days me and my riding partner generally share a meal ....while riding, anyways.

Interesting change for me too losing 10-12 lbs a year moved from 257 down to 191 currently and my
Stomach shrunk can’t eat amounts like I used to. I agree half a burger and half of fries is all I need when riding problem is riding buds eat like they’re starving so can’t split with anyone. All you can eat anything not for me anymore.

Type 2 diabetes got me and most of my friends. We take a pill Metformin and i just don’t feel hungry so I eat light and do a lot of landscaping and remodeling of our house so constantly doing hard work. Last ride my fleece skidoo pants wouldn’t stay up anymore and they have a pull tie. Lol that’s when I had to admit time to buy new riding pants. I feel great but Type 2 diabetes is all too common with guys my age paying for past sugar soda pops is my best guess.

I hear all of that whitedust. Type 2 is to common all over. I somewhat expected maybe that could be the reason. You have done what you needed to do, congrats! My wife has the same, and manages it well. She is on me all the time. I cut way back on the pop thing years back now, H2O is best. However, when I have a drink, Beam, or Morgan, I use Squirt, or Coke as a mix. Keep up the good work, ride safe.

I recently talked to the owner of Gippers and he explain a perch shortage due to a reduced quota having been put on the Lake Erie yellow perch commercial fishery. "Because Great Lakes perch is so hard to come by, some businesses are turning to European perch, or Zander, he said, which comes from Poland and other areas in Europe with bodies of fresh water. The fish comes to the U.S. frozen and is not as tasty as yellow perch." I simply order cod or pollack to enhance my old fashioned on Friday night.
